Be an SECC Champion
Champions are people who put forth extra effort to reach a goal. SECC Champions are state employees who pledge one-half hour’s pay per check to make their community a better place for everyone. The SECC recognized 1,543 employees as Champions in 2017-2018.
A half-hour’s pay per check is an easy way to help.
To be a Champion simply take your gross hourly pay, divide it by 2 then pledge that amount for each pay period. (If you are a continuous giver, please make sure that your deduction for the 2018-2019 campaign is equal to your current 1/2 hour of pay per pay period)
With a projected overhead of 7% for the 2018-2019 SECC you can be assured that you will be using the most cost-effective method to support the organization(s) you choose to help.
Last year, Champion givers contributed over $839,000 to help support not-for-profit organizations.
Recognition will be given to an Agency when 20% or more of its givers make a contribution at the Champion Level.
